Job Description:
Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university.
Preferred Skills:
CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms
Must be able to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities
Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue
Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue and damage tolerance principles
n compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California,Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $25.50 - $48/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
